The pleasantly deranged screen adventures of a freeloading Amsterdam sweet 'n sourpuss, based on the renowned  pleasantly deranged newspaper comic HEINZ by René Windig and Eddie de Jong.
It was quite a puzzle to translate the hotchpotch-anything-goes universe of 25 years' worth of one-off gag strips to a feature film format, without committing character assassination. 
Heinz is no action hero. He'll go out of his way to avoid trouble. Always. That's how he cuts long stories short.
The answer was to mercilessly push him into hot water at the deep end and see if he'd make it back to his favorite bar before closing. 
In 2019 the film was released in the Netherlands.
