Happy-Go-Lucky freeloader Heinz, nobody's idea of an action hero, manages to misplace his infant son. Gone, vanished, without a trace! He has to track the nipper down pronto if he ever wants to get back in the good graces of his on-and-off again, long-suffering best girl Dolly.
Despite himself Heinz winds up saving the planet from a hostile alien take over. Not his idea of how to spend a Saturday afternoon, but hey...
Over a decade in the making, HEINZ was produced in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and a tiny speck on the outskirts of Antwerp by Bos Bros Film Productions, Fabrique Fantastique and Submarine Studios. The film was released theatrically in the Netherlands in 2019.
HEINZ was selected for the 2019 Shanghai International Film Festival, where it was presented in the original Dutch, with English and Chinese subtitles, and played remarkably well.
